About Us... How and Why Did We Develop Aruba Tan?

Background

Well, it starts with Rebeca. Growing up with fragile, alabaster skin always seemed a curse to her. A tan on her friends looked so healthy and attractive, yet to lay out in the sun left her fair skin fried and in pain. Sunless tanners of the 80's left her the laughing stock of her high school, and tanning beds aggravated her sensitized skin. After years of trying every sunless tanning product in the prestige and mass market she decided to develop her own sunless tanning products that married the best of sunless tanners into one miraculous formulation.

Not long after sunless airbrushing came onto the market did she realize this was a dream come true. Her quest for the ultimate tan was now pairing up with a perfected application. No more odor, no more gloves, no more anyone asking, "What is that brown stuff all over the counter top?"

Rebeca pulled together a team of great people and, after over 4 years of working to create a cutting edge formulation for Aruba Tan, our system was introduced. Aruba Tan's excellence and performance standards produce sensational, safe tanning results while giving customers a pleasurable experience. Aruba Tan was developed and perfected to meet our highest quality standards. Aruba Tan is the culmination of years of testing and the latest advancements in the sunless tanning industry to deliver a healthy, fast, bronzed tan that people enjoy as a wrinkle free alternative to the sun.

Key Management:

Rebeca, our President, can only be described as a cosmetics and personal care guru. Her knowledge and experience is beyond extensive. She has been working in the cosmetics and personal care industry for over 16 years and maintains a passion like no other. Through work with conglomerates like Estee Lauder and leading New York area spas, she has learned the importance of quality and excellence in order to build repeat business.
Mark, our Chief Operating Officer, is obsessed with details. He has 22 years of operations experience with corporations in a multitude of fields such as marketing, telecommunications, and personal care in countries spanning the globe including the U.S., Central and South America, Europe, and the Pacific Rim. Our clients benefit from his obsessions, as he will not let Aruba Tan sell anything that is less than exceptional. Oh, and he has spent more than a year in Aruba... so he knows what an Aruba Tan looks like!
Rob, our Vice President of Sales and Marketing, is focused on customer needs. He has developed and managed sales and marketing efforts for such high profiles companies as MCI Worldcom, MBNA, American Express, and Vodka Martini. Rob has worked in the United Kingdom, throughout Europe, Malaysia, India, and the United States. He pulls the team together to sell and support our products in the most efficient and cost effective ways to keep our prices low and help keep our quality beyond high.
